Belgrade weekly Radar published more transcripts of messages exchanged by members of an organized crime group and Serbia state officials who allegedly include Aleksandar Vucic.

Radar said the transcripts identify Vucic as the person behind the nicknames Oskar and Cvarak which have been mentioned in other transcripts taken from messages on the encrypted Sky ECC platform. The messages exchanged in 2020 between convicted drug trafficker Darko Saric, his brother Dusko and their associates suggest close contacts between the criminal group and people linked to Serbia's political leadership, it said.
In one message from November 2020, Saric wrote to his brother: “Cvarak is Oskar”. In earlier messages, associates explicitly identified Oskar as Vucic, according to the weekly.
The correspondence also refers to contacts involving Vucic's brother Andrej and son Danilo, and alleged arrangements concerning Saric's surrender, prison sentence and possible presidential pardon. Radar has also reported claims that Saric financed the SNS.
The allegations have not been independently established in court. The SNS and the Internal Affairs Ministry have not responded to N1's questions about the latest revelations.
