Having two 4K monitors on your desk is great for gaming and multitasking, but it's better when you’ve got the same amount of screen space across one enormous display. And you can have just that for less with a massive price drop on Samsung’s beast of a gaming monitor upgrade.
As of Oct. 21, the Samsung 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) is down to $1,499.99 at Amazon, taking $600 off its $2,099.99 list price.
With that 29% price cut, this monitor’s now only $50 from the $1,449.99 price we found in August, and $100 off its lowest-ever Amazon price (confirmed with price tracker camelcamelcamel). If you’re after an immediate upgrade so you’re ready for GTA 6 from the get-go — including whenever it’s out on PC — now’s a great time to pull the trigger.
Samsung’s 57-inch panel for the Neo G9 delivers a whopping 7,680 x 2,160 resolution, equivalent to two 32-inch 4K monitors placed together. You won't have an irritating gap down the middle, whether you're playing an ultrawide-compatible game or juggling multiple applications.
All the while, Samsung's Quantum Mini-LED technology uses 2,392 local dimming zones to improve brightness and contrast, complemented by VESA DisplayHDR 1,000 certification. Plus, the 1,000R curve brings the edges closer to your field of view.
This monitor’s 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro should make for a responsive experience, provided your PC has enough power to handle the demanding resolution.
