DIMAPUR: Trailblazer Society celebrated its 10th Anniversary-cum-Family Get-Together at JP Park & Banquets, Naga United Village, bringing together members, their families and well-wishers for a day of fellowship, reflection and celebration.
According to a press release, the programme was conducted in two sessions. The first session featured children’s games and recreational activities led by Arenkala and Akumtola Jamir, engaging children, members and spouses through a variety of interactive activities that promoted bonding and family togetherness.
The second session commenced after a refreshment break and was chaired by Tiameren Alingri, a member of the Society. In his opening remarks, he paid tribute to two late members, Tiameren Amri and Imlitemsu Changkiri, and prayed for strength and comfort for their families.
The invocation was offered by T. Atola Ao.
A special song was presented by Jentysangla Changkiri, who recalled having sung at the Society’s first anniversary celebration and expressed joy at witnessing its decade-long journey.
Special guest Er. Sungti Amer, Assistant Chief Engineer (Retd.) and member of the Board of Governors and Finance Committee, NIT Chümoukedima, congratulated the Society on completing 10 years of service and fellowship.
Reflecting on his association with the Society, Amer commended members for their achievements, particularly the successful Changki-Tai Ahom Cultural Connect 2026, which he said reflected the vision and commitment of the Society. He also encouraged parents to guide their children according to their strengths and adapt to the realities of a rapidly changing, AI-driven world.
A tribute presentation was delivered by Jentysen Tzudir, who reflected on the Society’s journey over the past decade. She described Trailblazer Society as a vision that began with 30 founding members and has since grown into an organisation enriching many lives.
She also paid tribute to the pioneers and remembered the two departed members whose contributions continue to inspire the Society.
Delivering the exhortation, senior member Sentiningsang Longkumer urged members to focus on making meaningful contributions to society rather than merely accumulating achievements and possessions.
A highlight of the programme was the felicitation of the Society’s first office-bearers in recognition of their dedicated service from 2016 to 2025. Those honoured included Dr. Temjennungsang Longchari (chairperson), Rejosanen Longchari (secretary) and Limasunep Tzudir (finance secretary).
Chairperson Imlitongzuk Amri, in his vote of thanks, expressed gratitude to all members, families, guests and supporters for making the celebration successful.
The programme concluded with a benediction by Sungjemyala Longkumer, followed by a fellowship dinner.
