A dispute over food between Islamabad police officers deployed outside Serena Hotel has prompted an internal inquiry after an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) allegedly mistreated a constable seeking a meal.
According to the complaint, the constable approached the ASI to collect food while assigned to special duty. The senior officer allegedly behaved rudely toward him and refused to provide the meal.

Islamabad Police has stated on its official X account that the DIG Security had taken notice of the allegation and directed the SSP Security to investigate. The department said a full inquiry was underway, with departmental action to follow its findings.

Police have not announced a disciplinary decision, and the allegation against the ASI remains subject to investigation.
The inquiry will determine the circumstances of the confrontation and whether misconduct occurred.
