As part of efforts towards achieving the goals of Digital India, Kollam district's first state-of-the-art exclusive Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) has officially opened its doors to the public. Located on the first floor of Sreenis Tower at High School Junction, this modern facility marks the sixth exclusive Aadhaar Seva Kendra to be established in Keralam. The centre has been thoughtfully designed to provide seamless services for citizens across all age groups, including children and senior citizens.
The newly launched centre serves as a one-stop destination for a wide range of Aadhaar-related requirements. Visitors can easily apply for new Aadhaar cards, request demographic updates—such as changes or corrections to names, dates of birth, residential addresses, and registered mobile numbers—and complete mandatory biometric updates. Additionally, the facility features dedicated grievance redressal mechanisms to help citizens lodge and resolve any Aadhaar-related issues promptly.
To ensure maximum convenience, services can be accessed either by booking an appointment online or through direct walk-ins. The fully air-conditioned office houses eight dedicated service counters, including specialised counters tailored to assist senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and transgender individuals without hassle. The Aadhaar Seva Kendra operates on all days except national holidays, from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
