Denver Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle had four receptions for 24 yards during the team's Week 6 win over the Seattle Seahawks. He was targeted a team-high seven times.
Why It Matters: In six games with the Broncos, Waddle has finished with fewer than 40 yards five times -- he had less than 25 yards in four of them. In terms of yards-per-catch, Waddle has averaged 2.0, 5.0, 7.0, 9.5, and 6.0 in those five games with his longest catch covering just 13 yards. It's hard to envision a less impactful start to the former Dolphins' career in Denver, especially considering what the Broncos gave up to acquire him. While Waddle has too much talent to be released, you'd be well within your rights to park him on the bench for the time being. That said, the Broncos do face the Cardinals in Week 7. With a matchup like that, the upside might make it worth rolling the dice on Waddle in that one.
