SM PRIME Holdings, Inc. is advancing the multi-phase redevelopment of Susana Heights Village in Muntinlupa City after relaunching residential lots last year, citing demand from buyers acquiring properties for long-term ownership.
“Many of our buyers are acquiring properties for their children who are now raising families of their own,” Jose Juan Jugo, Signature Series by SM Residences head, said in a statement on Thursday. “They see Susana Heights as a place where the next generation can put down roots and a long-term asset that can remain in the family.”
The company said it is moving ahead with the first phase of the redevelopment, which targets the next generation of homebuyers.
Susana Heights Village is a residential estate in Muntinlupa City with direct access to the South Luzon Expressway and proximity to the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway.
The development offers residential lots ranging from 500 square meters to 900 square meters.
As part of the redevelopment, SM Prime has engaged Perkins & Will, Greener & Partners and Inspira Design Core for planning and design work.
The company plans to build North and South Plaza commercial areas outside the residential core to preserve the estate’s low-density layout.
The commercial component will feature low-rise buildings, glass-fronted stores and landscaped walkways.
The redevelopment also includes upgrades to community facilities, including the clubhouse, covered tennis courts, indoor basketball court, gym, social hall and chapel.
