The epitome of glamour, the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is the luxurious Riviera resort that played host to the Kennedys, Churchills and Windsors.
But now staff at Antibes' most exclusive cliffside hotel have been forced to ban mobile phone photography after it became overrun with influencers looking to get snaps for social media.
Wannabe social-media stars have been staging photo shoots in the grounds, restaurants and by the pool at the hotel where rooms cost up to £28,000 a night.
A TikTok trend has even seen influencers filming themselves attempting the hotel's famous assault course – a century-old rope swing and hanging ladder – over the sea.
Now, management has confirmed there will be much tighter restrictions on photography.
Hotel manager Sophie Volant said some restaurant visitors were spending more time taking photos than enjoying their meal.

'We have a lot of loyal, repeat guests who don't see this hotel as a hotel, they see Hotel du Cap as their summer home,' Ms Volant told Travel Weekly.
'We had to think about a solution.'
She said some non-hotel guests were arriving with bags of clothing and changing outfits several times for photo shoots at the property, which once hosted the likes of Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Ernest Hemingway and F Scott Fitzgerald.
'To preserve the peace and privacy of all our guests, photo shoots are not permitted,' the hotel website now states. Guests with photography requests are directed to the concierge.
Sofia Richie, 28, daughter of singer Lionel Richie, put the hotel on the map for influencers after she married her husband Elliot Grainge there in 2023.
