Browns Receive Concerning Mason Graham Injury News Before Ravens Game

The Cleveland Browns are preparing for a crucial AFC North matchup.

But another potential absence could complicate their plans. With the Baltimore Ravens arriving in Cleveland, the latest injury news has raised fresh concerns about the Browns' defensive front and their ability to contain a dangerous rushing attack.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter:

"Browns DT Mason Graham, listed as questionable for today’s Week 6 game against the Ravens, is not expected to play today," Schefter reported.

The update is a significant setback for Cleveland.

Graham has been dealing with an MCL sprain and an ankle sprain sustained in Week 4. He also missed last Sunday's loss to the New York Jets.

Graham returned to practice on a limited basis Friday, offering some hope that he could suit up. However, his expected absence would leave Cleveland without one of its important young defensive linemen.

That could become a major concern against Baltimore. The Ravens have running back Derrick Henry, whose physical running style can punish defenses that struggle to control the line of scrimmage.

Baltimore will also be without quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Tyler Huntley is expected to start for the second consecutive week after helping the Ravens beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime.

The Ravens enter the matchup at 4-1, while Cleveland is 3-2. The Browns will need their remaining defensive linemen to step up and prevent Henry from controlling the game.

Graham's absence could make that task considerably harder. If Cleveland cannot slow Baltimore's ground attack, the Ravens may be able to dictate the tempo and put pressure on the Browns' offense.
