Tripura Transport minister reviews vacancies for drivers across 27 departments

A meeting was held at Conference Hall No. 3 of the Secretariat to review the existing vacancies for government vehicle drivers in various departments in accordance with the provisions of the Tripura Government Vehicles Drivers Services Rules, 1979.

The meeting was chaired by Transport minister Sushanta Chowdhury in the presence of senior officials from 27 departments of the Tripura Government. 

The discussions focused on the current vacancy position for government vehicle drivers in each department, updated reservation rosters and other relevant matters in accordance with the applicable service rules.

According to Chowdhury, the initiative aims to assess the actual vacancy position, improve the efficiency of government services and ensure the smooth functioning of administrative activities. 

During the meeting, various related issues were discussed, and necessary suggestions and directions were issued by the minister.
