The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revised the schedule for the ongoing President’s Trophy Grade-I, moving two sixth-round fixtures from Peshawar and Abbottabad amid the political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
The first-class tournament, which has so far been staged across four cities, will now see matches originally allocated to Peshawar and Abbottabad played in Sheikhupura and Lahore, respectively.
According to the revised schedule announced by the PCB, the sixth-round encounter between Ghani Glass and Kingsmen Academy has been moved from the Imran Khan Stadium in Peshawar to the Rana Naveed Cricket Academy in Sheikhupura.
The four-day fixture will now take place from October 14 to 17.
Similarly, the match between Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), initially scheduled at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium, will be played at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) Ground.
The SNGPL-OGDCL clash will also be held from October 14 to 17.

Meanwhile, the sixth-round fixtures scheduled in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will proceed as planned, with both matches commencing on Monday.
The PCB has also made a minor adjustment to the final round of the league stage, pushing its start back by one day to October 19.
The ongoing sixth round is the penultimate stage of the competition, with teams battling to secure a place in the final.
The President’s Trophy Grade-I features eight departmental teams competing in a single round-robin format, with each side playing seven matches during the league stage.
The top two teams in the standings at the conclusion of the league phase will qualify for the final, although the PCB has yet to announce the venue for the title-deciding encounter.
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) currently occupy the top spot in the standings with 84 points, while Ghani Glass sit second with 70 points.
Kingsmen Academy remain firmly in contention for a place in the final with 66 points, followed closely by Pakistan Television (PTV) on 64 points.
