Few drinks say retro Christmas quite like a Snowball cocktail and Warninks, the advocaat brand behind the festive favourite tipple, is bringing big nostalgia back to the drinks trolley with a brand-new flavour – and it's the first new launch from the brand in 12 years.
Meet Warninks Pistachio White Chocolate, a limited-edition cream liqueur that combines the brand's familiar velvety advocaat with two of the biggest flavours around right now: roasted pistachio and smooth white chocolate.
We can totally see this working in a Snowball, giving it a much-needed twist on the classic, while still keeping that rich, creamy character.
This new flavour is designed to be enjoyed neat over ice, making it an easy option for anyone who wants something a little more exciting than the usual Baileys or a classic Snowball this Christmas. But we'd also be very tempted to use it as the starting point for a festive cocktail if you're entertaining.
The launch comes after more than 400 years of Warninks' advocaat-making heritage, with the brand describing pistachio and white chocolate as two of today's most sought-after food and drink flavours. It's also a pretty significant moment for the brand, marking its first product development in 12 years.
Warninks Pistachio White Chocolate costs £11.50 for a 50cl bottle and is available across the UK from October at Tesco, Sainsbury's and Amazon.
