BEAUTITONE

Home Hardware’s BeautiTone has named Rosewater TR27-2-1 its 2027 COTY. The soft, radiant pink balances comfort with sophistication, offering a fresh take on creating calm, lived-in spaces. It marks a shift from the deeper, moodier hues of recent years, including 2026 COTY Muse, an earthy green, and 2025’s Midnight Flora, a dramatic red purple, the brand notes.
“Across Canada, we’re seeing homeowners move away from stark, high contrast interiors toward colours that feel warmer, more approachable and enduring,” says Donna Robertson, paint consultant, BeautiTone Paint and Home Products. “Rosewater brings that warmth and softness into the home while maintaining a refined look that homeowners can build around for years to come.”
BEHR

Behr Paint Company’s 2027 COTY, Grounded (T27-01), is an earthy olive green that it says captures restorative essence and quiet energy. The natural shade moves effortlessly between olive and moss, anchored by subtle brown undertones that bring the outdoors in.

“Grounded is a reminder that the most meaningful spaces are the ones that help us reconnect with the rhythms of everyday life,” says Behr’s head of colour Kayla Kratz. “Its organic warmth creates a sense of calm and renewal, making every room feel inviting and effortlessly livable.”
BENJAMIN MOORE

Webster Green HC-130 is described by the paint manufacturer as a “confident hue with undeniable personality.”
“When we looked across the past, present and future of colour trends, variations on green consistently demonstrated remarkable staying power,” says Andrea Magno, Benjamin Moore’s vice president of Brand, Colour and Integrated Marketing. “Webster Green HC-130 reflects this timeless appeal by pairing reassuring stability with optimistic energy. Its composed nature feels both rooted and forward-looking, while enhancing spaces that feel distinctive, collected and continually new.”
DULUX® PAINTS

Pink promises to take over as the new, go-to neutral for home décor in 2027 and not just any pink: think pale dusty rose infused with grey-brown undertones that oozes warmth and coziness, DULUX Paints forecasts. Its COTY 2027, Birthday Cake (DLX1059-2), resembles a soft earthy clay. The grounded, comforting blush pink adds subtle sophistication and depth to living spaces while emitting a feeling of calm and tranquility.
“People today long to rise above the weight of the world and bring more joy into their everyday lives and muted, soothing pink wraps rooms with a sense of optimism, playfulness and emotional well-being that so many of us crave,” says Victoria Mastroianni, senior brand manager for Dulux Paints, likening the trending pink to an uplifting hug.
SHERWIN-WILLIAMS

Sherwin-Williams and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams have unveiled Celery SW 6421 as their 2027 COTY. The light and airy herbal green brings a “snap of freshness” to otherwise still and settled interiors, balancing a soothing presence with an invigorating quality that makes it approachable across a range of styles, the brand says.
Celery “reflects today’s priorities: wellness, balance and connection,” says colour marketing manager Ashley Banbury. “Homeowners and designers are increasingly prioritizing wellness at home, seeking soothing environments that support mental health and overall well-being.”
SICO

After years of playing it safe with neutral décor, Canadians are getting bolder with colour and this will translate into more expressive-looking homes in the year ahead, SICO® paint predicts. From rich brown to teal, berry red, olive green and muted pink, next year’s palette by SICO paint is filled with saturated, energetic organic hues.
The brand’s 2027 COTY is Glazed Earth (6066-84). Think sunbaked earth and rustic clay, steeped with hints of dusty red and orange that emits a cozy, resilient and timeless feel. “Terracotta is subdued and nurturing rather than loud, reminiscent of natural elements like soil, stone and pottery,” says Sico brand marketing manager Oriana Gagnon Martinez. \
“An uber warm and welcoming neutral, it fills spaces with relaxed elegance that encourages people to slow ddown, feel grounded and find strength in the reassuring familiarity of home.”
