WWE star Montez Ford is facing a lawsuit from a security guard who accused him of performing a sexualised lap dance on him during a live broadcast of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
The guard, Noel Lucas, filed the lawsuit against Ford, whose real name is Kenneth Crawford, and WWE, alleging assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and other claims.
According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred on July 6 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, as Ford and his Street Profits tag-team partner, Angelo Dawkins, entered the arena before their televised match.
Lucas, a Cook County Sheriff’s Department officer working off-duty security at the event, alleged that Ford approached him without warning or consent and began dancing provocatively in front of him.
The lawsuit stated that Ford “began performing a sexually provocative dance immediately in front of and over Plaintiff [Lucas], repeatedly thrusting and gyrating his hips and pelvis towards Plaintiff, performing a sexualized ‘lap dance’”
Lucas further alleged that Ford moved closer as the dance continued and that his inner thigh repeatedly rubbed against the guard’s leg.
The lawsuit contains 14 counts, including alleged violations of the Illinois Gender Violence Act.
