The Buffalo Bills continue their trip out west with a matchup in the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. Weather won’t impact the players in a dome, giving quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense a chance to operate in perfect conditions.
For members of Bills Mafia watching the game at home, however, when is the perfect time to make that Wegmans run before the late afternoon kickoff? We’ve got the forecast for that.
Bills vs. Raiders weather forecast for Rochester
There’s a solid likelihood that Rochester could see its first frost of the season Saturday night into Sunday morning, with a freeze watch until 9 a.m. Aside from beating the rush, there’s no reason to bundle up before heading out for Buffalo dip fixings and chicken wings first thing in the morning.
The warmest part of the day will be right before kickoff, but things will already be a comfortable 58 degrees by 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Buffalo. It’s only expected to warm up a few more degrees beyond that.
Anyone looking to catch the 1 p.m. slate (New York Jets vs. New England Patriots or Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns on local broadcasts), might want to head out in the 11 a.m. hour, when temperatures jump 4 degrees. There’s no chance of rain in the forecast, and sunny skies are expected throughout, so there isn’t really a bad time to grab chips, dips and your favorite beverage.
The AccuWeather forecast predicts more of the same, with lots of sun, mild winds and temperatures cresting in the lower 60s, making for a memorably pleasant day in Rochester.
