The Full Moon in Taurus arrives on October 26, bringing a moment to pause, ground yourself and take stock of what really feels secure.
Taurus energy is all about comfort, stability and knowing your worth, but sometimes we hold on simply because something feels familiar. Taurus are notorious for being stubborn.
This Full Moon asks a question: what are you carrying into winter that you really don’t need anymore? It could be a relationship, habit, expectation, fear or even an old version of yourself that you’ve quietly outgrown.
So, let’s use this lunar moment as a cosmic clear-out. Here’s what your star sign needs to release before winter, because the impending season will bring you new gifts, pathways, options and opportunities.
You need room in order to grow.
Here’s where the tarot cards suggest your star sign can make some.

Aries
March 21 to April 20
Tarot card for Aries for the Full Moon in Taurus: The Chariot
Meaning: The Chariot asks you to let go of the pressure to progress or succeed, because winter is a long, restorative season; less action and more thought or reflection.
Not every phase of your life can be high octane, action-packed and overly successful. Some phases are about consolidating, shedding, reviewing, and resting.
You are ambitious and passionate, your life is always is goal-oriented or, at the very least, going places. But what would happen if you just let life happen for a while? Went with the flow? Followed the signs? Why not find out…

Taurus
April 21 to May 21
Tarot card for Taurus for the Full Moon in Taurus: Queen of Coins
Meaning: The Queen of Coins asks you to let go of your material perfectionism – home comforts, aesthetics, body beautiful, fashionista-level outfits, perfect grooming etc. Chill. Relax. Be a little, dare I suggest, slobby!
Your practical nature, high standards, and perfectionism can create to-do lists that overwhelm you and, sometimes, results in paralysis, in nothing getting done, and you feeling defeated before you’ve begun.
This autumn, get into a groove of less is more, doing just enough, focusing on just one element… and letting the rest get a bit messy, not look supreme, get tackled by someone else for a change.

Gemini
May 22 to June 21
Tarot card for Gemini for the Full Moon in Taurus: Six of Coins
Meaning: The Six of Coins asks you to let go of trying to fix, help, pour good energy, support and encourage everyone in your realm, all the time, at every level.
You can be too generous. I say that because it leaves you, eventually, depleted, frustrated, and even resentful. Not everyone has it in them to repay your high-energy gifts. People give you what they are, not what you deserve. And some people don’t want your kindness; it makes them feel beholden or even weak.
With that in mind, step back a little. Rein it in. Take care of yourself first and foremost. Maybe one good deed a day maximum!

Cancer
June 22 to July 23
Tarot card for Cancer for the Full Moon in Taurus: Eight of Coins
Meaning: The Eight of Coins asks you to let go of working so hard that you burn yourself out completely. Seriously, stop.
You have grafted to the max this year and you’re sincerely ready, on all levels, for a phase of rest, distraction, play, pleasure and general puttering about. You cannot pour from an empty jug — in fact, if you carry on at this pace and scope and you’ll be no use to anyone anyway.
Either book a holiday, reschedule your commitments, delegate, establish new boundaries, trim the diary, share the chores, say no, change your hours. Do practical things to lesson your load.

Virgo
August 24 to September 23
Tarot card for Virgo for the Full Moon in Taurus: The High Priestess
Meaning: The High Priestess asks you to let go of needing, asking or relying on other people’s opinions, ideas, advice or leadership. Go within.
You are smart — smarter than most folk — and practical, and shrewd, and diligent. Truthfully, there’s no sign that should really be ‘in the right’ as often as you are… so why don’t you back/trust yourself?
The answers you need are all already within you. Solitude, patience and trust are the keys to open these doorways to immaculate insight. Rest, walk, daydream, meditate. Access your intuition and use it.

Libra
September 24 to October 23
Tarot card for Libra for the Full Moon in Taurus: Ace of Swords
Meaning: The Ace of Swords asks you to let go of covering up for someone, for protective reasons (maybe even self-protective). It’s time for the truth to surface — and you may be the one to unleash it and guide folk through this discovery.
This cannot continue festering and warping your actions and interactions with others. It needs expressing, addressing, and releasing. A tough dialogue will no doubt ensue, but that’s better than this draining pretence.
The outcome might be some kind of new chapter, fresh start, renewal… and that’s a good thing. You will feel nothing but relief. Don’t drag this out.

Scorpio
October 24 to November 22
Tarot card for Scorpio for the Full Moon in Taurus: Six of Swords
Meaning: The Six of Swords asks you to let go of a piece of dead weight you’ve been dragging (and wanting to let go of) for around six months. It’s time.
This is not a surprise to anyone. This is already over; something you checked out of long ago, but have carried on with for reasons that no longer make sense, in truth. So, make it clear, call it time, create closure. And move on.
I feel like mentally you already have grieved and ended this bond or commitment, you’re now just going through the motions (and it shows). So, stop. What a relief. Liberation.

Sagittarius
November 23 to December 21
Tarot card for Sagittarius for the Full Moon in Taurus: Five of Coins
Meaning: The Five of Coins asks you to let go of pretending you’re not hurt and everything is just fine and dandy.
I’m not saying you’re in a deep, dark place, but I am saying you’re grieving, regretting, or worrying about something — and I want you to know it’s not that heavy, that you can come back into the light quicker and easier than you think.
Know how? Talking about it. Sharing the truth of your feelings, naming them, being honest. And then letting folk tell you about their similar experiences, how they coped, what helped. Seek fellowship, it’s like medicine.

Capricorn
December 22 to January 21
Tarot card for Capricorn for the Full Moon in Taurus: King of Cups
Meaning: The King of Cups asks you to let go of caring so, so much about someone who is, truthfully, draining you. They don’t listen or take your advice or help. So why keeping pouring it in?
You are much more sensitive and compassionate than folk realise. You have a soft heart and know how it is to feel insecure, unsure, unwelcome, or even unwanted. You carry your wounds privately, but they make you super aware of other folks’ feelings. And someone has struck a chord with you, causing you to pour a lot of energy into helping them.
They really have made that the ‘new normal’ now, without them ever heeding your words or guidance. So, cut this off. Step back. Let them work it out for themselves — they have to. This is their lesson, not yours.

Aquarius
January 22 to February 19
Tarot card for Aquarius for the Full Moon in Taurus: The Star
Meaning: The Star asks you to let go of a fanciful, wishful yearning that you know can never happen. It’s draining your energy and will only serve to provoke dissatisfaction and frustration.
You can dream a dream… but not this one. It’s not for you, it’s not in play, it’s not really what you need. Thinking about this has become a habit rather than anything useful or rewarding.
Next time the fantasy starts to run, go distract yourself, and work on replacing it with something you can do. Because you could have a dream come true this winter — by February — but you need to choose it and work on it.

Pisces
February 20 to March 20
Tarot card for Pisces for the Full Moon in Taurus: Seven of Swords
Meaning: The Seven of Swords asks you to let go of a relationship or alliance or connection with a person who your intuition is telling you is not trustworthy. Your gut instinct is right, even if you can’t pin anything on them.
You are psychically gifted, don’t turn away from your powers. Lean into them. I am not saying to create a row, accuse them or cause drama. Just start drifting a little further out of orbit, lean back, avoid them more, create some distance… and then keep widening it.
As you step back, you will regain perspective and see more, and maybe you’ll see the evidence that your intuition is trying to tell you exists. They are not deserving of your precious energy, Pisces.
