It’s Friday night again as games get set to kick off for Week 10 in Polk County football Oct. 23.
Of course, there are some big games with major implications heading into the postseason on tap.
In the Santa Fe versus Zephyrhills matchup, the game serves as a gauge for Santa Fe to maintain momentum and position itself favorably for postseason action. A win for Santa Fe solidifies their regional standing, but an upset by Zephyrhills would shake things up.
And district races such as Class 6A, District 9 involving teams like Haines City and George Jenkins carry heavy postseason seeding implications as these squads gear up for FHSAA playoff positioning.
Of course, there are other Polk County teams to look out for, so enjoy.
