Seha Group has announced a strategic partnership between its technology arm, SehaTech, and Chubb Life Egypt to digitize insurance operations, alongside the launch of SehaAcademy to develop specialized talent in medical insurance and healthcare management.
The announcements were made during Seha Group’s first annual event, which brought together around 250 industry leaders, executives, and decision-makers from the insurance and education sectors.
Under the partnership, SehaTech will provide integrated technology solutions to support Chubb Life Egypt’s medical and life insurance operations, including the management of insurance groups and beneficiaries, invoicing, reporting, and other operational processes.
Eslam Nagah, Country President and Managing Director of Chubb Life Egypt, said the partnership would combine Chubb’s international insurance expertise with SehaTech’s technological capabilities and understanding of the local market to improve operational efficiency and develop solutions tailored to Egypt’s insurance sector.
Mohamed El Shabrawy, CEO and co-founder of Seha Group, said the partnership reflects the group’s strategy of expanding collaboration across the insurance industry while investing in technology and professional development.
Seha Group also launched SehaAcademy in collaboration with the British University in Egypt (BUE), with GREA UK appointed to manage the academy under an agreement signed with the group.
The academy will offer specialised training programmes in medical and life insurance, as well as healthcare management, targeting both existing industry professionals and new entrants to the sector.
The initiative builds on the existing collaboration between SehaOne and BUE’s School of Continuing Education to develop professional training programmes and strengthen skills in the healthcare and insurance industries.
Mostafa AboElsoud, CEO of GREA UK, said the collaboration would focus on delivering specialised programmes combining academic knowledge and professional training to help prepare qualified personnel for the sector’s evolving requirements.
Separately, SehaOne announced the launch of InsureHub and AiDa, an artificial intelligence-powered assistant designed to help insurance companies respond to inquiries from visitors to their websites and improve access to insurance information.
The new solutions form part of SehaOne’s efforts to expand its digital services for insurers and advance the electronic administration of medical insurance operations through electronic third-party administration (e-TPA) services.
SehaOne’s platform connects insurance companies with healthcare providers and supports the administration of insurance processes, including claims and approvals. The company aims to use digital tools and data analytics to streamline procedures and improve operational efficiency.
