In the Rostov region, Ukrainian strikes hit the production and storage facility of the “Roboavia” drone-manufacturing enterprise located near the settlement of Khutor Lenina on Friday, Oct. 16.
The enterprise designs and manufactures unmanned aerial systems used extensively by Russian forces along active combat sectors. Ukrainian defense planners noted that degrading the company’s physical infrastructure is engineered to disrupt serial assembly lines and restrict drone deliveries to frontline Russian formations.
“Damage was confirmed on Oct. 16 to the production and warehouse building of the Roboavia enterprise in the area of Khutor Lenina, Rostov region of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff announced.
“Striking the infrastructure of an enterprise that develops and manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles for the Russian army is aimed at complicating the production and supply of UAVs for Russian forces.”
Missile brigade logistics hit in Bryansk region
Military authorities also officially verified the results of an earlier precision strike conducted on Monday, Oct. 12, inside Russia’s Bryansk region.
