Securitize on October 8 launched tokens representing rights to 12 U.S. stocks on Solana, allowing eligible investors in the U.S., European Union, and approved regions to access tickers such as Apple, Nvidia, and Tesla. Each token is backed 1:1 by underlying shares, and trades settle in USDC, initially during extended U.S. market hours.
The product passes through entitlements applicable to the underlying stock, including dividends and voting rights, but token holders do not appear directly on the issuer’s shareholder registry. This structure positions Securitize among platforms seeking to connect traditional securities ownership with the on-chain market, as the U.S. recently opened a temporary corridor for tokenized stock trading.
Securitize begins with 12 US stocks
The initial rollout includes Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Nvidia (NVDA), Alphabet (GOOG), Tesla (TSLA), Meta (META), Amazon (AMZN), Netflix (NFLX), Circle (CRCL), SpaceX (SPCX), Strategy (MSTR), and Palantir (PLTR), according to Securitize’s announcement.

The tokens are issued on Solana and traded via Securitize Markets, an SEC-registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. Investors must complete the onboarding process, identity verification, and anti-money laundering checks, as well as satisfy jurisdictional conditions before gaining access to the product.
In the initial phase, Securitize Stocks is traded via the company’s existing Solana PropAMM. Jump Trading acts as the market maker, supporting liquidity, price formation, and trade execution. Securitize stated that investors can store tokens in their self-custody Solana wallets, rather than holding assets solely in platform accounts.
How the security entitlements work
Securitize Stocks uses a Convertible Entitlement Token, or CET, structure. Each token is backed 1:1 by an underlying stock and represents a security entitlement under Article 8 of the U.S. Uniform Commercial Code.
Token holders receive the entitlements applicable to the underlying stock, including dividends, corporate events, and voting rights if the corresponding class of stock carries these rights. Securitize stated that the shares used as backing will not be lent out.
According to Securitize, token holders are not directly registered on the issuer’s shareholder roster. CETs can only be converted into registered shares when the issuer adopts an issuer-sponsored tokenization model and supports the conversion. Currently, the companies in the portfolio do not sponsor or endorse Securitize Stocks.
Trading starts before round-the-clock access
Securitize Stocks is initially traded during extended U.S. market hours, with plans to move toward 24/7 operations. The company has not provided a specific timeline for the continuous trading rollout.
Securitize said the product is also expected to appear on the 24/7 digital trading platform currently being developed by the NYSE and on the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue. However, neither venue has launched yet. Trading capabilities on these venues remain subject to platform launch, regulatory approvals, listing reviews, and operational requirements; Securitize noted that these plans may not be realized.
Tokenized stocks gain regulatory momentum
The launch comes three weeks after the SEC issued an “Innovation Exemption” for Tokenized Securities Venues, or TSVs. This five-year mechanism conditionally exempts qualified platforms from the definition of an “exchange” under U.S. securities laws when supporting tokenized stock trading via automated market makers and liquidity pools restricted to authorized participants.
According to the SEC, tokenized stocks traded under this framework must preserve the rights and privileges of the underlying securities. Issuers must be notified and have the right to object, while TSVs must satisfy requirements for trade data disclosure, recordkeeping, and system protection.
The tokenized stock market has expanded in recent times. According to RWA.xyz, the value of tokenized stocks distributed on-chain reached $3.24 billion as of October 10, an increase of 13.19% over 30 days. The Solana Foundation stated that Solana recorded approximately $4.4 billion in trading volume for this asset class in September, with network supply reaching $684 million.
Securitize stated that secondary trading is currently provided through the company’s broker-dealer without relying on the exemption for TSVs. The SEC mechanism remains temporary, and the agency is taking public comments before considering long-term rules for on-chain securities trading.
