Nicolò Tresoldi admits it is ‘a dream come true’ to play at San Siro for Club Brugge against Inter in the Champions League, as the potential Italy international is a lifelong Milan supporter.
It kicks off at San Siro at 20.00 UK time (21.00 CEST).
This is the first ever competitive meeting between Inter and Club Brugge, who had never previously crossed paths, but are here facing off in the Champions League.
Tresoldi enjoying derby atmosphere
It is also an opportunity for Tresoldi to play on Italian soil, which he could well do in future as well if he decides to represent the Azzurri at international level.
The 22-year-old striker was born in Italy and raised in Germany, where his family moved when he was a child, and so far has played for Germany at various youth levels, but is yet to make a firm decision.
What he definitely does know is that his heart beats for the red and black side of Milano.

“It does feel like a derby for me, it has always been my dream to play here at San Siro,” Tresoldi told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s even better for me to be up against Inter, seeing as I am a Milanista. I feel like a kid with his dream come true.”
Tresoldi has already scored six goals in eight competitive games for Club Brugge so far this season.
