HARTFORD, Conn. — Insurity, a leading provider of cloud-based software for insurance carriers, brokers, and MGAs, today announced that its largest Excellence in AI & Insurance conference to date highlighted the next generation of intelligent insurance technology and its potential to transform how insurers operate and grow. Held October 5–7 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Excellence in AI & Insurance brought together insurance executives, technology leaders, and industry experts to explore the real-world applications of AI and strategies for improving business performance.
Using AI for helping carriers to profitably grow was the central theme throughout the three-day conference, with executive keynotes, breakout sessions, product demonstrations, and customer user groups focused on translating emerging technology into measurable business results. Attendees explored strategies for improving underwriting performance, accelerating product development, modernizing claims, and managing regulatory complexity. Discussions also examined AI governance, implementation challenges, and how insurers can maximize the value of their technology investments while preparing for the next era of insurance.

A major highlight was Insurity’s continued innovation across its Ratio portfolio, including Ratio Content & Rating Engine and Ratio Policy AI. Ratio Content & Rating Engine helps insurers manage thousands of regulatory changes annually, implement product updates up to four times faster, and rate everything from small commercial policies to large, complex commercial risks in seconds using a single, high-performance rating engine. Ratio Policy AI brings AI-native capabilities to complex commercial policy administration, helping insurers launch products in days and reduce total cost of ownership. Together, the solutions help insurers accelerate speed to market, reduce the cost and complexity of managing insurance products, and respond faster to changing business demands.
“AI is raising expectations for what insurance technology should deliver, and insurers are increasingly focused on results they can see across their businesses,” said Jatin Atre, Chief Executive Officer of Insurity. “This year’s Excellence conference made that clear. From the conversations happening across our customer community to the innovations we’re introducing with Ratio, there’s tremendous momentum behind making insurance smarter, faster, and more profitable. Our focus is on helping insurers turn that momentum into a lasting competitive advantage.”
Insurity also recognized outstanding customer achievements during its annual Excellence Awards ceremony, celebrating organizations using technology to drive meaningful improvements across their businesses. This year’s honorees included AF Group, Nationwide, Arch Insurance, Great American Insurance Group, FFVA Mutual, MEMIC, EMC Insurance, and CRC Group. Their achievements reflected progress across underwriting, claims, operational efficiency, digital transformation, and customer experience, highlighting the impact of technology investments across the insurance industry.
