In partnership with Variety, U.S. Bank and Visa will host An Evening With Jessica Alba on Oc. 29 in Los Angeles. The intimate, invite-only event will celebrate the launch of U.S. Bank’s Business Essentials product suite, including two new credit cards in collaboration with Visa. A recently launched brand campaign features Alba as U.S. Bank’s official small business card spokesperson.
The event will feature a keynote fireside conversation featuring Alba and Courtney Kelso, Senior Executive Vice President, Payments: Consumer and Small Business at U.S. Bank, moderated by Variety’s co-editor-in-chief Cynthia Littleton. The candid conversation will dive into what it takes to build, operate and grow a business today, exploring the real decisions, pressures and opportunities entrepreneurs navigate along the way.
Alba and Kelso will share tangible insights and takeaways for entrepreneurs and small business owners about the realities of running a business and how financial partnerships factor into business success.
“At Variety, we’re passionate about the entrepreneurs and visionaries shaping what’s next in business and culture. We’re proud to partner with U.S. Bank and Visa to bring together influential voices like Jessica Alba for a conversation that celebrates the ambition, resilience and innovation it takes to build something meaningful,” said Dea Lawrence, Co-President & Publisher, Variety.
“Small business owners employ over 61 million Americans and contribute to nearly half of our nation’s GDP. They deserve financial products that reward their ambition and empower them to succeed,” says Kelso. “Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships with small business owners through integrated solutions.”
Anthony Merola, U.S. Bank EVP and Head of Proprietary Products, adds, “At U.S. Bank, we serve more than 2 million small businesses across the country, and those relationships continue to deepen. By bringing together our banking and card capabilities, we’re creating greater value for our clients while strengthening their relationship with U.S. Bank. Our new Business Essentials cards are a great example of that strategy in action.”
