THE captain's armband has sat well with Cameron Humphreys over the past week.
With Huddersfield Town's normal on-pitch leader, Ryan Ledson having received a three-match ban on Friday and with usual deputy Murray Wallace nursing a knee injury, Humphreys is likely to be entrusted with further captaincy duties, including next weekend's derby at Bradford City.
It's a case of first things first on Saturday as Town seek to round off a resounding week with a full-house of three league wins.
Humphreys' leadership qualities may differ from Ledson's. But not as much as you'd think, according to head coach Martin Drury.

On the midfielder, who joined the club for a second loan spell this year from Ipswich Town in the summer, Drury said: "He's young, isn't he? But at the same time, he's very mature and level-headed for his age.
"I think the way he plays demonstrates that. He's not someone that comes in and beats his chest and starts banging on the walls.
"I think he leads by example with how he trains and plays and how unassuming he is and is just focused on development on performance. So he's been brilliant.
"What I liked the other night - I watched the game back four or five times - was that I saw numerous times when actually his communication skills looked like they were improving.

"He was trying to move up the pitch on backward passes. He was connecting with midfielders and celebrating things.
"He was the first to congratulate Joe (Taylor) when he scored.
"So he's actually learning on the job to an extent. But I think he's got so many captain leadership qualities that he's demonstrating at such a young age."
Bojan Radulovic (hamstring) will miss the match against Wigan.
The striker sat out the midweek game with Peterborough as a precaution after feeling his hamstring – with Town mindful of a three-game week itinerary.
Further investigation has revealed an issue, but it is not a big one.
David Kasumu is available, while key defender Radinio Balker could be involved after missing the last two matches with a hamstring injury.
Alongside his suspension following the fixture with Sheffield Wednesday, Ledson has copped a £7,000 fine after being deemed to have used abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official around the tunnel area at half-time and after the final whistle.
