Ethereum Price Prediction: $11 Million ETH Foundation Transfer Raises Questions

Ethereum bounces back toward $2,550, up more than 2% over 24 hours, as a sizable exchange deposit in a market still recovering from liquidations skews its price prediction. The transfer has drawn attention, and the wallet history complicates the read.

Two wallets linked to early Ethereum Foundation distributions sent 4,393 ETH, worth about $11.1 million, to Kraken today. Blockchain analysis traces the funds back roughly a decade, when ETH traded near $0.90. An exchange deposit can precede a sale, but it does not confirm one.

Broader conditions remain unsettled. Crypto liquidations reached about $101.9 million on October 11, while traders face U.S. inflation data, ETF-flow updates, and options expiry this week. Those catalysts can shift risk appetite and ETH’s short-term direction; the immediate question is whether buyers can defend support and reclaim resistance.

Ethereum Price Prediction: Can ETH Break Above $2,600 This Week?

ETH is near the top of its reported $2,510–$2,570 24-hour range, with a daily gain of more than 2%. That bounce is constructive, but it does not yet establish a breakout. We identified $2,500 as the key pivot and $2,600 as the near-term resistance to clear.

The scenario map is straightforward. If ETH holds above $2,500 and pushes through $2,600, short-term momentum could improve and invite a test of higher levels. A sustained hold around $2,500 is the base case: consolidation, with the ETH foundation transfer adding uncertainty rather than a confirmed supply shock.

A decisive loss of $2,500 would weaken the structure and increase the risk of further downside, particularly if broader risk assets soften. There is a second fundamental consideration. Ethereum’s average base fee was reported at 0.0673 gwei over 24 hours, versus a weekly average of 0.4210 gwei, while supply increased by about 2,960.61 ETH.

Lower fees reduce the near-term contribution from fee burning. That is relevant to valuation, though a single low-fee period does not settle the longer-term supply picture. For a wider view of competing ETH price scenarios, see analysis of bullish Ethereum targets.

For traders, the practical read is conditional: watch $2,500 for support and $2,600 for confirmation, while tracking exchange balances and ETF flows. A deposit is a signal to monitor, not a trade trigger by itself.

LiquidChain Targets Cross-Chain Access as Ethereum Tests Key Levels

ETH’s rebound offers a potential path higher, but the $2,600 ceiling leaves room for failed breakouts and choppy positioning. That uncertainty can push traders to look beyond a single asset for infrastructure plays, but early-stage projects carry a different, often greater, risk profile.

LiquidChain ($LIQUID) is a Layer 3 infrastructure project built around a unified execution environment for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana liquidity. Its proposition is “The Cross-Chain Liquidity Layer”: developers deploy once and access all three ecosystems.

The feature set includes a Unified Liquidity Layer, Single-Step Execution, Verifiable Settlement, and a Deploy-Once Architecture. The presale price is $0.014964, and the total raised approaches at $1 million. Staking APY is also offered at a very healthy 1200% APY rewards only for presale buyers.

Research LiquidChain and review the project details before the presale window closes.
