The presidential office said on the 25th that it has published the first volume of "Collected Speeches of President Lee Jae-myung," compiling his speeches and social media messages from his first year in office.
The 386-page collection, which features speeches delivered at various events along with social media posts outlining the president's governing principles, will be distributed free of charge both online and offline. The volume covers messages issued over the course of a year, from his presidential inauguration oath on June 4 last year to a social media post on May 30 this year encouraging voters to take part in local elections.
The opening pages carry photographs documenting key moments in his administration. Printed copies will be distributed to the legislative, executive and judicial branches, as well as to local governments, public agencies, and national, public and university libraries.
The e-book version is available free of charge through the presidential office website, the government's policy briefing portal, the policy weekly K-Gonggam, and commercial online bookstores including Kyobo Book Centre, Yes24, Aladin, Google Books, Apple Books, Ridibooks and Millie's Library.
The electronic edition includes links to live broadcast footage of the president's speeches and carries codes for text-to-speech conversion for older adults, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
