Trust Bank PLC organised "Uddokta Utshob Sylhet 2026" at a hotel in Sylhet to recognise entrepreneurs' contributions, strengthen relationships with micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) customers and encourage collaboration for sustainable business growth.
Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of the bank, attended as the chief guest, while Sadat Ahmad Khan, senior vice president and head of the SME Division, chaired the event, according to the press release.
Naushad Mostafa, director (supervision), and Sudhangshu Ranjan Deb, additional director of the SME and Special Programmes Department at Bangladesh Bank's Sylhet Office, attended as special guests.
MSME and corporate customers from various branches of Trust Bank participated in the programme. Selected customers were honoured for their business achievements, longstanding relationships with the bank and contributions to their respective sectors.
A video highlighting the success stories of selected customers was also screened, showcasing their entrepreneurial journeys and business accomplishments.
Trust Bank said it remained committed to supporting MSME development, expanding financial inclusion and promoting sustainable entrepreneurship through customer-focused banking services and long-term partnerships.
The event concluded with a cultural programme and dinner in a festive atmosphere.
