Nestlé Professional and Bangladesh Culinary Foundation jointly celebrated International Chefs Day on 20 October 2026, bringing together more than 700 chefs affiliated with the foundation.
The programme was the foundation's largest event, with Moazzem Hossain Alal, adviser to the BNP chairperson, attending as the chief guest, according to the press release.
Alal presented Nestlé with a token of appreciation in recognition of its support for the initiative. Hosne Ara Loma, director of corporate affairs and HR, accepted it on behalf of Nestlé.
The presentation took place in the presence of a Worldchefs-certified chef, the president of Bangladesh Culinary Foundation, the director of sales, marketing and supply chain, and the country business manager of Nestlé Professional.
During the celebration, Nestlé Professional showcased its foodservice portfolio through brand engagement and culinary experiences. The portfolio featured food solutions from Maggi, beverage solutions from Nescafé and dessert solutions from Milo.
At Maggi Kitchen, participating chefs joined hands-on cooking activities with master chefs, exploring practical applications of the products and exchanging culinary ideas.
Nestlé Professional, part of Nestlé, supports the foodservice industry through its work with chefs, restaurants, hotels, cafés and catering businesses.
The company said it combines its brands, culinary expertise, consumer insights and practical food and beverage solutions to help business partners achieve their ambitions and create memorable experiences for customers.
