ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has declared a viral social media video showing an attack on the Pakistani ambassador in London as fake and misleading.
The video circulating online shows a man throwing a white powder-like substance at a suited individual as he prepares to enter a vehicle.
Posts sharing the footage claim that the incident occurred when Pakistan’s ambassador was heading towards his car in the British capital.

However, the ministry’s fact-check has rejected the claim, stating that the footage has no connection to any incident involving the Pakistani ambassador in London.
According to the ministry, the video is being circulated with a misleading caption, falsely portraying the incident as an attack on the Pakistani diplomatic representative.
The fact-check clarified that the footage actually shows French politician Raphaël Glucksmann being covered in flour in Paris on October 11, 2026, following his victory in a left-wing primary.
The ministry stressed that no such incident involving the Pakistani ambassador had taken place in London, contradicting the claims accompanying the viral video.
