Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic has restored judicial notification services and other procedural acts in Venezuela, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) announced.
The measure applies exclusively to Venezuela and lifts the temporary suspension of these services announced in March 2025. Their restoration follows the reopening of the Dominican Republic’s Consulate General in Caracas and the establishment of the operational conditions needed to process the procedures.
MIREX said requests for judicial notifications involving individuals or legal entities domiciled in Venezuela can once again be submitted through the established channels and procedures, in accordance with Dominican law.
The restoration of the services comes as the Dominican Republic works to strengthen consular ties with Venezuela. President Luis Abinader recently announced the reopening of the Dominican consulate in the country following a meeting with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodríguez.
