Russian forces reportedly attacked Dnipro with guided aerial bombs (KABs) on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 13, damaging apartment buildings, vehicles, and transport infrastructure and injuring a 64-year-old man.
Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, said the city had been targeted with guided aerial bombs in a Telegram post published at 7:30 a.m.

“A loud morning. The enemy attacked Dnipro with guided aerial bombs. A man was injured. Apartment buildings, transport infrastructure, and vehicles were damaged,” Lukashuk wrote.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (OVA), said the injured man was 64. Medics provided him with the necessary care, but he declined hospitalization.
The type of weapon used in the attack has not been independently confirmed. If the use of guided aerial bombs is verified, the strike could mark a new escalation in Russian attacks on Dnipro.
Previous reports of guided bomb strikes on Dnipro
Reports of a Russian guided aerial bomb attack on Dnipro also emerged in early October last year. However, the weapon was later identified as a Hrom-1 missile, which had reached the city for the first time.
The Hrom-1 is a missile-bomb system that can be used as either a missile or a glide bomb. The two versions differ in their warheads and range: the missile carries a 315-kilogram warhead and has a range of up to 120 kilometers, while the bomb variant carries a 480-kilogram warhead and can travel up to 65 kilometers.
