Cincinnati Bearcats defensive lineman Josh Hough reportedly suffered an injury in an unusual sideline incident involving a golf cart and a West Virginia staff member.
The moment was captured during Saturday's Big 12 Conference game with Cincinnati against West Virginia on TNT.
A broadcast replay shows Hough being carted off the field with a lower extremity injury. The West Virginia cart operator backed up against a sideline wall, appearing to further injure Hough, who was in noticeable pain after the accident.

The incident added a concerning moment to the matchup between the Bearcats and the Mountaineers. Hough left the game midway through the second quarter with the score tied at 7. Cincinnati took a 21-14 halftime lead.
Hough was ruled out for the remainder of the game. The Syracuse transfer from Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania was replaced by Elijah Gunn. At 6-foot-2 and 335 pounds, Hough was a fullback for the Orange before switching positions earlier this year.
No word on the extent of Hough's injury.
