Week 6 of the NFL season has come to a close. We saw a dominant win for the Carolina Panthers, an impressive divisional win for the Arizona Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys’ defense continuing to struggle, the Saints finding a way to hold off the New York Giants, and so much more. Here are the report card grades for Week 6.
MORE:3 NFL teams that should be worried after Week 6
NFC West
Los Angeles Rams: D+
The city of Los Angeles has been going through it this week as the Dodgers lost, but more importantly, the Rams did not look good against a division rival. The Cardinals marched into the Rams’ building and won a close one. The Rams’ super team isn’t looking very good, and some are questioning how good this team really is.
San Francisco 49ers: B
The 49ers dominated through three quarters but played poorly to finish the game, allowing Washington to score multiple touchdowns in the final 16 minutes. The offense stalled out in the second half, which might have had something to do with Mike Evans being injured after his big first half.
Seattle Seahawks: C-
The Seahawks lose another heartbreaking game, as this one results in a Will Lutz field goal to win it in overtime for the Denver Broncos. Turnovers are a recurring theme for Seahawks QB Sam Darnold, and the run game could be better. Jaxson Smith-Njigba has another strong game, but the Seahawks fall to 3-3.
Arizona Cardinals: A
The Cardinals defeat the Rams in this one 18-15, in a huge upset. Both teams are now tied at 2-4, and the Cardinals’ offense was without Jerimayeh Love this week. An impressive win for Mike Lafleur.
NFC North

Chicago Bears: B+
The Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams returns from his hamstring injury, and he performed very well. Williams threw 30/36, and the offense played very well to get them the win. D’Andre Swift was able to score twice, and Luther Burden III led the team with 95 receiving yards.
Green Bay Packers: A
The Packers defeat the Cowboys and take care of business. They forced multiple turnovers and Matthew Golden had a strong day. Three straight wins for Green Bay.
Minnesota Vikings: Bye Week
The Vikings get a well-deserved bye week after a strong season. They will take on the 2-4 Indianapolis Colts.
Detroit Lions: Bye Week
The Detroit Lions are on bye as they take a 3-2 record next week into Los Angeles to face the Rams in a highly anticipated 4:25 game.

NFC East

Philadelphia Eagles: D
The Eagles need a new voice. Jalen Hurts sidelined for multiple weeks is unfortunate. But the team looks disoriented, and Nick Sirianni is going to be fired if things don’t change. Injuries are hurting this squad; only 7 points in four quarters won’t win you a football game.
Dallas Cowboys: D+
Another poor week from this defense, and this team isn’t disciplined. Dak Prescott wasn’t able to settle in and took some big hits from the Packers defense. George Pickens wasn’t very productive. Brian Schotenhiemer’s Cowboys are struggling to find why their defense is still struggling despite adding many names.
New York Giants: C-
The Giants experiment with Jameis Winston seems to be done. JJ McCarthy put together a strong 4th quarter, but it wasn’t enough to win them the game. Either way, the team needs to figure out who their leading running back is. Cam Skattebo saw zero touches in a game where they needed the run game to be effective.
Washington Commanders: B-
After three horrible quarters of football, the Commanders suddenly kicked it into a different gear, holding the 49ers scoreless in the fourth quarter and scoring 14 unanswered points to make it a 6-point game. Despite coming up short, they made it a very interesting game late.
NFC South

Carolina Panthers: A+
The Panthers come off the bye and defeat the Eagles. Panthers improve to 2-1 on the road, and Bryce Young picks up a big win. The offense is clicking at a high level, and the defense made some impressive plays, holding the Eagles to only 14 points.
New Orleans Saints: B+
The Saints erased a big deficit against the Giants and won the game 34-27. Tyler Shough threw 3 touchdowns, and the offense was able to run the ball extremely well for 175 yards against a bad run defense. A big win for the Saints on the road.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C
The Buccaneers fall to 0-4 at home as they drop this one to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jalon Daniels throws two interceptions, and the struggles continue in Tampa.
Atlanta Falcons: C+
The Falcons battled to the end and dropped this one to the Bears. The team was inefficient on third down and allowed Caleb Williams to have a good day in the pocket. Bijan Robinson wasn’t able to find the end zone, and the team will have to figure out how to win at home. A tough one in Atlanta.
