KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened slightly higher on Friday before easing on mild profit-taking in selected heavyweight stocks.
The benchmark index climbed 1.13 points to 1,624.83.
Amid uncertainty stemming from the US, the index is expected to remain within a tight range of 1,615 to 1,625 today.
In the crypto market, Bitcoin rose to RM335,449.
Ethereum fell to RM9,936, while Solana was up at RM430.
