The market cap of tokenized stocks on BNB Chain climbed by $239.3 million over the past seven days.
BNB Chain pulls further ahead
Tokenized stocks are blockchain tokens built to track the price of traditional equities.
BNB Chain’s tokenized stock market cap reached approximately $1.5 billion as of mid-October 2026. The chain had already crossed $1 billion in tokenized stocks and ETFs by early October.
That puts BNB Chain at about 37.5% to 42.59% of the total tokenized stock market.
The total market across all chains has approached or reached $4 billion. That figure reflects an 831.8% increase year-over-year.
Ethereum holds approximately $730 million to $842 million in tokenized stocks, while Solana sits at roughly $490 million to $732 million.
The bStocks effect
Binance introduced its bStocks platform on June 11, 2026.
bStocks crossed $1 billion in assets under management by October 15, 2026.
Other issuers, including Ondo Global Markets and xStocks, have also contributed to the rapid expansion of the tokenized equity market.
About 1.8 million unique addresses held tokenized stocks on BNB Chain by late September 2026, representing a 45% share of all tokenized stock holders across chains.
Total on-chain transfer volume for tokenized equities exceeded $100 billion in the third quarter of 2026, with BNB Chain capturing the largest share.
From niche to multi-billion-dollar market
At the start of 2026, estimates for the total tokenized stock market ranged from $700 million to $965 million. By the end of October, the sector had expanded into the multiple billions.
What this means
BNB Chain’s lead appears tied closely to Binance’s ability to funnel its existing user base toward a new product, creating concentration risk given that a large portion of BNB Chain’s tokenized stock market depends on one platform.
The gap in market share estimates, from 37.5% to 42.59%, is a reminder that measuring this market is still imprecise, and headline figures should be read as approximations rather than precise readings.
Traders and investors following the space should track weekly market cap changes, holder counts, and transfer volumes together for a clearer view. A spike in market cap without matching growth in holders could signal concentration among a few large wallets; rising holders alongside rising volume would point to broader adoption.
