CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke was confronted by unidentified people at Delhi airport. The viral exchange comes amid the judicial custody of two CJP members.

Abhijeet Dipke heckled at Delhi airport
Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) activist Abhijeet Dipke faced angry reactions from a few people upon arriving at Delhi airport, with a video of the confrontation going viral on social media.
The video shows people shouting at Dipke as he makes his way through the airport amid a commotion. One person can be heard repeatedly asking him, “Why are you ruining the country, brother? Why are you ruining the country?”
At another point in the video, people can be heard shouting, “Thief, thief,” while a commotion unfolds around a car. The identities of the people confronting Dipke remain unclear.
The confrontation comes amid a row over the detention of CJP activists Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and Ajinkya Shinde in Delhi.
Dipke has called upon people to gather at Central Park in Connaught Place on October 16 to hoist the Tricolour, alleging that activists Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were jailed simply for hoisting the national flag.
In a post on X, Dipke wrote, “Lehra do Tiranga,” and appealed to patriots and people who love the national flag to assemble at the park at 5 pm on October 16.
“As you all know, Saurabh and Aashu have been jailed simply for hoisting the Tricolour. So, I appeal to all patriots—to everyone who loves the Tricolour—to gather at Central Park, Connaught Place, on October 16th at 5 PM with the flag; we will hoist it there and demonstrate that waving the Tricolour is not a crime,” he said.
Dipke also urged people who cannot travel to Delhi to organise a ‘Tiranga March’ in their respective cities in the evening.
Calling the Tricolour a matter of national pride, he said, “Let these people—these autocrats—know that our Tricolour is our pride and hoisting it is not a crime.”
Dipke said he was not worried about the possibility of being jailed after making the appeal and reiterated his intention to hoist the national flag.
“I might be jailed after this, but I am not worried about that. The Tricolour is my pride, and I will certainly hoist it,” he said.
Earlier, Delhi Police detained CJP activists Ashutosh Ranka, Saurav Das and Ajinkya Shinde on Tuesday after they allegedly attempted to break through a cordon and enter Jantar Mantar, which had been denotified as a protest site.
The group had gathered at the protest site in the early hours of the morning. According to reports, security personnel arrived shortly after the protesters began their demonstration and took them into custody, removing them from the venue.
Reacting to the detentions, Dipke wrote on X, “Cockroaches with the Tiranga sneaked into Jantar Mantar early this morning before they were picked up by Delhi Police. Ashutosh Ranka, Saurav Das and Ajinkya, along with other team members, have been detained. You cannot denotify the resistance, @narendramodi.”
Ranka also posted on X, “Hands Off Jantar Mantar.”
The detentions and Dipke’s subsequent call for a gathering at Connaught Place have brought the CJP’s protest over the Tricolour and Jantar Mantar into focus.
