RSS Vijayadashami Address Targets Regime Change Plots, Drug Menace And OTT Content
In his annual Vijayadashami address, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat delivered a stern message on national unity, social challenges, and internal stability. Bhagwat stated that India has never witnessed a regime change through protests and never will, noting that while demonstrations are a right, protests cannot be used to force every demand or attack constitutional institutions. Highlighting India's global stature, he noted that the position of Vishwaguru will not come as charity or divine intervention, but through collective effort and the nation's inherent potential. Addressing emerging social issues, the RSS Chief highlighted the growing menace of narcotic drugs, calling it a serious national problem requiring societal awareness and administrative action. He also flagged unregulated content on OTT platforms, cautioning against adverse impacts on the younger generation and advocating regulatory oversight alongside cultural values. Additionally, Bhagwat commended Captain Smit Machhar for his extraordinary bravery in averting an aircraft disaster.
