Barack Obama and Donald Trump are going head-to-head ahead of the November 3 US midterm elections. Obama is criticising Trump's administration over inflation, rising living costs and the Iran conflict while campaigning for Democrats in Ohio and Michigan. Meanwhile, Trump is defending his policies, promising lower fuel prices and renewing his pledge of a $5,000 payout for every adult American if Republicans retain control of both chambers of Congress.
The campaign battle also features key Ohio races involving Sherrod Brown, Amy Acton and Vivek Ramaswamy, alongside controversy over a campaign advert featuring Acton's estranged mother.
