A training programme for the District Youth Officers (DYOs) of MY Bharat Kendra, under the Union Ministry of Youth Welfare and Sports, was held in Thanjavur.
According to an official release, the training programme was aimed at providing an exposure to the administrative governance, financial procedures, and field-level operational management to the DYOs.
The training curriculum emphasized institutional efficiency, record maintenance, administrative regulations, and budget planning essential for district-level youth coordination. Interactive sessions and practical exercises designed to strengthen programme implementation across various districts formed part of the curriculum.
As part of their field exposure and infrastructure orientation, the trainees visited the Youth Hostel Thanjavur and reviewed the facilities and operations of the facility, wherein they had practical insights into managing youth accommodation, organising regional conventions, and maintaining community youth assets, the release added.
