Former NFL player Manti Te’o is confident that the San Francisco 49ers are going to, at most, only lose a couple of games in the 2026/27 regular season.
The Niners have had a fantastic start to the campaign and currently sit with a 6-0 record, which is the best in the NFL right now as the Kansas City Chiefs and the Minnesota Vikings, both 5-0, have already been given byes this term.
San Francisco most recently picked up a win over the Washington Commanders on Monday and when analysing that game on Good Morning Football, Manti suggested that the Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks are the only teams that could ‘maybe’ beat the 49ers.
He said: “I was sitting there watching that game and I was thinking to myself there’s not a team in the league that can beat the Niners right now.
“I actually went through their schedule, like who could [beat them]? Maybe the Seattle Seahawks and maybe the Kansas City Chiefs.
“I started asking the question with my family, these guys could go, at worst, 15-2. They could go 17-0.”
The 49ers will play the Seahawks on November 29 before eventually facing Kansas City on December 27.
