The sophomore went 4-for-7 with 6 RBIs, a homer and 2 doubles and also pitched eight innings with five strikeouts, seven hits and one earned run in wins over Riverdale Ridge and Chaparral.
- Isa Hottman, PSD flag football: The Stars junior was outstanding in a tight playoff defeat for PSD. Hottman recorded nine catches for 96 yards on offense, grabbed 14 flags on defense and had three interceptions with a pick-six return for a touchdown.
- Maizie Magaña, Windsor softball: No. 1 Windsor is rolling to state at 25-0 after an easy regional-title romp. Magana provided plenty of offense in the regional wins, going 3-for-5 with six RBIs that included a grand-slam home run in the regional final vs. Widefield.
