Italy-born striker Nicolò Tresoldi had a hilarious reaction after learning he became the second player to score a hat-trick against Inter, following Gareth Bale.
Tresoldi was instrumental in Club Brugge’s dramatic 4-3 win over Inter at San Siro on Tuesday in the Champions League Round 2 by scoring a hat-trick.

Born in Cagliari, Italy, Tresoldi’s family moved to Germany when Nicolò was a kid, so the striker has represented Germany at a youth level and will play for Germany U21 in the Euros next summer before choosing whether to represent Italy or Germany.
In a post-match interview with Sky Sport Italia, Tresoldi said he had become the second player to score three goals in one game against Inter, after Gareth Bale.

The latter netted three goals at San Siro against the Nerazzurri in a group-stage game in October 2010, which Inter won 4-3 against Tottenham with Rafael Benitez in charge.
The Nerazzurri are now joint Serie A leaders alongside Lazio, but have lost seven of their last eight Champions League matches.
Nicolò Tresoldi after his HAT-TRICK against Inter: “For me, it was a bit of a DERBY. I received so many messages from AC MILAN fans before the game, telling me to SCORE and WIN.”
“I’ve dreamed of a night like this so many times. Scoring three goals and winning here at San Siro is something indescribable.”
