The savings accounts are offered through Morgan Stanley Bank International Limited and deliver returns of up to 5.10% AER. The minimum deposit amount is £1,000. In line with all Raisin UK products, opening and managing accounts through Raisin UK is free of charge for consumers. Deposits with Morgan Stanley are protected by the FSCS up to £120,000 per saver.
Fixed-rate Savings Offer Superior Returns
Morgan Stanley's decision to launch fixed-term savings with rates up to 5.10% AER reflects the appeal of this savings category. Bank of England data reveals that, from January through August 2026, new Fixed-rate Deposits (at 3.88% AER) deliver more than twice the interest of the average Easy Access account (1.67% AER).
Jules di Mambro, CEO of Raisin UK: “Fixed-rate Deposits are very attractive, but the vast majority of savings are held in low-return Easy Access or even no-return Current Accounts. Raisin bridges this gap by making it effortless for customers to actively manage their money, switch accounts, and maximise their overall returns.”
On Morgan Stanley, di Mambro comments: “Partnering with a world-class financial institution like Morgan Stanley presents a significant opportunity for our savers. It highlights the reach of our platform, Raisin’s standing with global financial institutions and our commitment to bringing top-tier savings products to British consumers.”
Christopher Beatty, EMEA COO of Morgan Stanley: "The UK is one of the world's largest and most established savings markets, making it an important part of Morgan Stanley's expanding global deposits strategy. Through our partnership with Raisin, we are pleased to offer UK savers access to the Firm’s competitive deposit products. This launch builds on successful programmes in other markets and supports Morgan Stanley's broader strategy to grow its global deposit base and help drive the continued growth of our business."
