Godzilla has been wreaking havoc and battling giant monsters on the big screen for decades. Now, the King of the Monsters is making its way onto laptops, with Fujitsu rolling out a special-edition FMV Zero Godzilla Edition notebook inspired by the franchise. And no, this isn't just a standard laptop with a monster sticker slapped on the lid. Fujitsu has worked Godzilla-inspired details throughout the design, from the touchpad and mouse cursor to the bundled power adapter.
The timing isn't random. Fujitsu's custom-designed laptop (model WU3G-L3) is a collaboration tied to Godzilla-0.0, the latest film in the long-running Japanese monster franchise, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 3. Fujitsu began accepting orders in Japan on October 22, with deliveries expected to start in late November.

Beyond the aesthetic flair, one thing that stands out is the weight. While Godzilla is a massive creature, the themed laptop goes in the opposite direction as a 14-inch (1920x1200 resolution) ultraportable that weighs under two pounds (around 1.95 lbs or 886 grams). Fujitsu says the design meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.
On the inside, the laptop packs a modest bite with a choice between AMD's Ryzen AI 7 445 and Ryzen AI 5 430 processors, both of which are Gorgon Point chips featuring a mix of Zen 5 and Zen 5c cores. Both chips also flex an onboard NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS for AI workloads and integrated Radeon 840M graphics.
The laptop also pairs 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory with solid state drive (SSD) storage capacities spanning 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Meanwhile, connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, USB4, HDMI, USB-A, and wired Ethernet. Its 63Wh battery is rated for up to 17.5 hours of video playback under Fujitsu's testing conditions.

All of that is fine and dandy, but it's the custom design that makes this laptop stand out. Fujitsu dressed it up with several monster-inspired touches, including a black-on-black Godzilla illustration on the lid, iconic dorsal fins on the touchpad, and a special nameplate sticker on the bottom. In addition, the Enter key carries a special "G-0.0" logo. Even the 65W USB-C power adapter gets a Godzilla theme.
The custom bits extend to the software side, too. The mouse cursor has been changed to Godzilla's footprint, and the laptop comes with pre-installed wallpaper featuring the beast.

The base configuration starts at ¥265,100 (approximately $1,695) with the Ryzen AI 5 430, 16GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. Upgrading to the Ryzen AI 7 445 costs an additional ¥19,800 (around $126), while moving to 32GB of memory adds ¥55,000 (around $352).
