Blue Mbombo is letting her captions do the talking. The influencer and former reality TV personality took to Instagram on 14 October 2026 with a set of polished new photos, but it was the words she chose to accompany them that got people talking.
Dressed sharply in a pinstripe suit, Blue, whose full name is Azul Thandi Mbombo, captioned the post with: "Heavy battles, soft glam and a spirit that refuses to break." The timing of the update was hard to ignore.
Thami Ndlala reportedly arrested
The photos surfaced shortly after Thami Ndlala, the husband of media personality Lerato Kganyago, was reportedly taken into custody by police outside the Randburg Magistrates Court. He faces criminal charges of intimidation and extortion, stemming from a SAPS docket that Mbombo filed against him. Ndlala has maintained his innocence and publicly pushed back against the circumstances of his arrest.

The pair have been caught in a rapidly escalating dispute involving allegations of verbal abuse, harassment, and explicit threats made against Mbombo and her minor child. On 3 October, Mbombo went public with these claims, which Ndlala flatly denied, calling the allegations a calculated smear campaign against him.
Ndlala responded by filing a R1 million defamation lawsuit against Mbombo and securing an interim High Court order compelling her to remove all related social media posts. Despite that court gag order still being in effect, her latest Instagram update appears to signal that her resolve remains firmly intact.
Spotting the structured pinstripe suit, one follower cheekily commented, "It's giving court appearance outfit," to which Blue directly responded, "Indeed it was," explicitly confirming the context behind her sleek yet resolute look.
The suit and that carefully chosen caption together paint a picture of someone who is navigating serious legal pressure without showing signs of retreat.
