The singer sat down for a candid podcast-style interview, speaking into a close-up microphone setup with his usual unfiltered energy. The clip, quickly made the rounds online.
In the footage, Arrow stated flatly that he has no interest in asking a woman about her relationship status before shooting his shot.
"Mimi nikikupenda sitaki nianze kukuuliza mambo na ati do you have a boyfriend," he said in the clip.
Arrow Bwoy's take on relationship boundaries
The singer went a step further, explaining that even a direct "I have a boyfriend" response would not slow him down if he is genuinely interested in someone.
"If you have a boyfriend sort yourself. He is your boyfriend. No, it doesn't concern me. Because me niko willing. So the vibe is going to be fine," he said.
Arrow Bwoy's position is essentially that a woman's existing relationship is her business, not his. His phrase "mambo yako" sums up his attitude: whatever situation she is in, it is not his problem to navigate.
Kenyans react to the viral clip
The interview triggered a sharp split online. A section of men rallied behind the singer, framing love as a competitive arena where hesitation costs you the prize.
Women, however, were far less sympathetic, with many accusing Arrow Bwoy of dismissing relationship boundaries entirely and encouraging behaviour that disrespects committed partners.
Arrow Bwoy, who is a father and has long been vocal about his views on love and relationships, has never shied away from controversy in the public eye.
Whether fans agree with him or not, his comments have clearly struck a nerve and reignited a wider conversation about loyalty, pursuit, and where personal responsibility ends in matters of the heart.
