The same destination and the same holiday length, but a very different data bill. A comparison of seven travel eSIM providers has named its best-value choice for an 11-day Morocco break.
You wouldn’t book four extra nights in a hotel you had no intention of staying in. But when buying mobile data for a holiday, it is surprisingly easy to pay for days you won’t use.
A comparison of seven travel eSIM providers has highlighted how choosing a package that fits your trip can make a difference to the bill. For an 11-day holiday in Morocco, Holafly was named the best-value option, costing 43% less than the most expensive provider in the comparison, according to the supplied announcement.
The comparison, published by Mobile Marketing Magazine, looked at the unlimited data packages a traveller would need to buy to cover the whole stay. Prices and plan details were collected from provider websites in September 2026.

That detail matters because the cheapest-looking package isn’t necessarily the cheapest way to cover your entire holiday. A plan that expires before your flight home could mean buying another, while a longer package might leave you paying for several days after you have unpacked.
For this particular trip, Holafly and Yesim offered plans matching the 11 days exactly. Yesim’s cost around 5% more, according to the comparison.
Ubigi came close to Holafly on price, but its package ran for 15 days. That left four days unused. Saily’s plan also extended four days beyond the holiday, while Jetpac’s included three extra days.
Airalo and aloSIM, meanwhile, required two separate plans to cover the full stay. It is the sort of difference worth checking before being drawn in by a headline price.
For travellers who want maps, messaging and restaurant searches available while exploring, the attraction of an unlimited plan is straightforward: less time spent monitoring a data allowance and more time getting on with the holiday.

Holafly sells its Morocco eSIM with unlimited data, although hotspot sharing has a separate allowance of 1GB per day. That is worth knowing if you intend to connect a laptop or share your connection with a travelling companion.
The comparison also looked beyond price. Holafly’s additional features include its Always On benefit, providing 1GB of backup data every 30 days in eligible destinations while the eSIM remains installed.
That is a separate backup allowance rather than another unlimited holiday package, but it could be useful when you need a connection between trips or after your main plan ends.
There are practical differences elsewhere, too. Saily and Yesim include a built-in VPN, while Jetpac provides access to services including Maps, Uber, Grab and WhatsApp through its backup offering.

Holafly also allows travellers to add a new plan to an eSIM already installed on their phone. Its refund request window was the longest in the comparison, at up to six months, although eligibility remains subject to the refund policy.
The result doesn’t make Holafly the cheapest choice for every destination, trip length or type of traveller. This was one 11-day Morocco itinerary, using September prices.
For this trip, matching the plan to the holiday helped Holafly take the best-value spot. Before your next break, checking the dates as carefully as the data allowance could be a worthwhile little saving.
