Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
GLP-Star is a personalized meal planning and habit coaching app for sustainable weight loss. It gives you a balanced meal plan with a grocery list, small habit challenges, trackers for weight, water, and steps, and coach chat for practical guidance. The plan is designed to work well alongside GLP-1 medications, and it’s just as useful if you don’t take one.
GLP-Star is a paid subscription. You can cancel in three ways: on the website, by email, or through the App Store or Google Play.
Here’s what you get, how the plan works, and how to cancel if you need to.
What Is the GLP-Star App?
GLP-Star helps you eat well, stay consistent, and feel in control, using simple routines over extreme plans. Instead of strict rules and long lists of banned foods, you get a personal meal plan, small daily habits, and supportive guidance that make progress feel doable in real life.
The goal is steady results built on everyday actions. That matters most for busy adults dealing with long days, low energy, emotional eating, or a perfectionist streak that turns one off-plan meal into a lost week. GLP-Star is a nutrition and habit app. It doesn’t replace advice from your doctor or prescriber, and results vary from person to person.
What Is Included In The GLP-Star App?
Every GLP-Star plan includes the same core features.
How Does The GLP-Star Meal Plan Work?
Your meal plan is personalized and balanced, so each day already answers the question, “What should I eat?” Your grocery list follows the plan, so you make fewer last-minute decisions and have fewer takeout nights after a long day.
For people on GLP-1 medication, this structure is especially useful. When your appetite is lower, every meal counts more. A balanced plan makes it easier to eat enough protein, fiber, and fluids, even when you’re not very hungry. It works as a GLP-1 meal plan with a grocery list, without the guesswork.
What Does The GLP-Star App Track?
GLP-Star includes a weight tracker, a water intake tracker, and a steps tracker. Seeing them in one place turns small daily actions into visible progress. On weeks when the scale barely moves, your water and step trends still show that your habits are on track.
How Does GLP-Star Coach Chat Work?
Coach chat gives you a place to ask questions when something gets in the way. A low-appetite day, a busy week with no time to cook, or a stretch of emotional eating all get practical guidance matched to your goals. It’s support that fits into your day, not another task on your list.
Is GLP-Star Only For People On GLP-1 Medication?
No. GLP-Star is designed to work well alongside GLP-1 medications, such as semaglutide (Ozempic and Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro and Zepbound). Many people on these medications need simple, steady nutrition to stay balanced.
But the app is just as useful for adults who aren’t on medication. If you want sustainable weight loss without rigid rules, or hormonal shifts are affecting your hunger and focus, the same meal plan, habits, and coaching apply.
What Is A GLP-1 Diet?
A GLP-1 diet is a way of eating that supports people taking GLP-1 medications. These medications slow how quickly your stomach empties and act on appetite signals, so many people feel full sooner and think about food less often.
That’s helpful for weight loss, but it also creates a new challenge: eating enough of the right foods when you’re less hungry. A GLP-1 diet focuses on protein, fiber, fluids, and smaller, balanced meals.
What To Eat On GLP-1 Medication
The advisory recommends building meals around fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, lean proteins, nuts, seeds, and plant oils. A practical GLP-1 food list includes:
Fish, eggs, chicken, and tofu
Greek yogurt and cottage cheese
Beans, lentils, and whole grains
Vegetables and fruits
Nuts, seeds, and olive oil
Eating your protein first at each meal helps, since fullness can arrive quickly. Lower-volume protein foods, like eggs, Greek yogurt, and fish, make it easier to reach your needs. These also make simple GLP-1 breakfast ideas and snacks.
How Does Billing Work?
As a subscription, your GLP-Star plan renews automatically. That keeps your meal plan, trackers, and coach chat running without any extra setup.
How Do You Cancel GLP-Star Plan?
There are three ways to cancel.
On the website: Go to the Manage Subscription page on the GLP-Star website, sign in with the email you subscribed with, and cancel your plan.
By email: Send “Cancel my GLP-Star subscription” to help@glp-star.com. Include your account email so the team can find you quickly.
Through the App Store or Google Play: If you subscribed on your phone, cancel in your device’s subscription settings.
Keep in mind that deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Who Is GLP-Star For?
GLP-Star suits busy adults who want sustainable weight loss without rigid rules.
Best fit
It works especially well if long days and low energy leave little room to plan meals. It also fits people who struggle with emotional eating or perfectionism, since small habit challenges and coach chat replace all-or-nothing thinking with steady, doable steps.
If you take a GLP-1 medication, GLP-Star gives you simple, balanced nutrition to stay on track while your appetite changes. If you’re going through hormonal shifts or dealing with hormonal weight gain, the flexible plan and supportive guidance help you build healthy habits for weight loss that fit real life.
What to keep in mind
GLP-Star focuses on food and daily habits, not workouts. If you want guided exercise, pair it with an activity you enjoy, and use the steps tracker to stay active. Progress also depends on consistent use. GLP-Star is a nutrition and habit app, not medical care, so follow your prescriber’s advice on medication and talk to them about any side effects.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How much time does following my plan take every day?
Most days take about 15–30 minutes. Your workout can be as short as 5 minutes, and meals take up to 10 minutes to prep. Logging your weight, water, and steps adds a minute or two. The plan is built around real, busy life – so you never need to block out hours to stay on track.
