We’re less than a month away from the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, and Rockstar is putting on the full court press with its marketing efforts to keep those pre-orders rolling in. That includes running numerous commercials, and fans who’ve been obsessively waiting for the game for all these years are combing through the TV spots and finding morsels of new footage.
The first GTA 6 commercial aired on NBC Sports, featuring the launch trailer but with some changes: - Cut shower shots, resulting in other shots being a bit longer - Longer plane shot - Longer Jason and Lucia shot - Xbox logo completely removed due to the deal with PlayStation https://t.co/o6qc4dGZab

A 90-second commercial that ran on NBC is an edited version of the launch trailer the studio posted to its YouTube channel last week. It omits one of the shower scenes in the launch trailer and stretches out others to make up the difference. The account GTA 6 Countdown on X listed some of the changes that were made. It includes a longer shot of Lucia jumping towards a plane, Jason and Lucia hanging out gets some extra time, and the removal of the Xbox logo at the very end.
While there isn’t much to see with the little bits of added footage, the scene with Jason and Lucia hanging out does stand out. When Jason gives her a bit of a nudge her reaction is far more expressive than in the original launch trailer, and the movement of her hair when she’s pushed looks a heck of a lot more impressive in the commercial.
Of course, commercials aren’t the only way Rockstar is getting the word out about the impending release of GTA 6. The company is also partnering with the Kaseya Center, home of the Miami Heat, to setup a pop-up restaurant called the Burger Shot that’s designed to look as if it was ripped right out of Vice City.
Miami's Kaseya Center has rebranded its burger restaurant as Burger Shot with Macca & Friends and Vice City posters also appearing inside the venue as part of #GTAVI's marketing campaign. Via @GTAVI_Countdown / @nvtnp_ https://t.co/FP3ly6kNen

Fans will finally be able to do more than just comb through these short videos when the game actually launches on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19.
