The 2026 tennisseason is winding down, and the field for the year-end tournament is beginning to take shape, with Coco Gauff and fellow American starJessica Pegula becoming the latest to punch their tickets to the WTA Finals.
Gauff and Pegula clinched their berths in the event for the fifth consecutive year.
The American duo joins world No. 1 Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka, Roland-Garros winner Mirra Andreeva, and Wimbledon champ Linda Noskova in the singles draw. Two spots remain.
The 2026 WTA Finals will run from November 8 through November 15 at Indian Wells. Ahead of next month’s tournament, Gauff is enjoying some well-deserved rest and relaxation, and shared a candid photo with her fans on social media.

Gauff shared a photo on her spam Instagram account with the caption, “I love the water, I want to be the water, I am the water.” After the season she has had, Gauff deserves some relaxation and time away from the court to refresh ahead of the finals.
Throughout the 2026 campaign, Gauff had an impressive 45-14 singles record.
She earned approximately $7 million in prize money this season and claimed the Cincinnati Open title, while sitting at No. 4 in the world rankings.
Gauff last appeared in the Round of 16 at the China Open, falling to Elise Mertens in straight sets (6-3, 6-3). We’ll have to see how she rebounds when she returns to the court at Indian Wells in a matter of weeks.
